Hello, my friends!
Welcome to my new online home! Many of you have been following my cooking adventures since the beginning (2016). Thank you for sticking around all these years!
After a time of life-changing events that kept me from blogging, I am returning full of energy, enthusiasm, and ideas to share new recipes, information, and stories about food and travel.
Many friends have repeatedly requested that I expand the recipe repertoire to include full spectrum recipes from the Mediterranean Diet, like grains and legumes.
The new content brought fresh air and feeling to the website that led me to launch this new website. I hope you like all the latest content and the features we built around it to make the site easier and more inspiring to use.
Mediterranean Diet
We created a brand-new section on the website. It includes information about the Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle. The data is based on my research and contains references to the most accurate sources on the Mediterranean Diet and Lifestyle.
To get you started with the Mediterranean Diet foods’ full-spectrum, I have two gifts for you; click the buttons below to download or print the Mediterranean Diet Shopping List and my very handy Butter to Olive Oil Conversion Table.
Recipes
We have redesigned the Recipes archive and included a search filter on the recipe index page, allowing you to find the recipes you are looking for a lot easier.
Meal Planning
I have heard from many people (mainly Facebook groups) that a downside of the Mediterranean Diet is that it requires a lot of planning and preparation. So, I created this section to give information — based on my own experiences — to help you navigate the meal planning process, weekly shopping, and prep. I hope that this information will be helpful in your journey.
Stories
This section includes stories about my family, travel, tastings, culinary experiences, cooking demonstrations, nutrition challenges I participated in.
Shop
This section recommends products I use at home to prepare our meals and some food items and ingredients. All links on this page are affiliate links. As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases without any additional cost for you.
Kitchen Tips
This section includes various “how-to” tips and information on Mediterranean cooking ingredients, but not common in other cuisines.
Mobile
A large percentage of my audience is accessing my site on their mobile devices. And with the newer generations, this percentage is only going to increase. The new design features improved performance and overall experience on mobile devices.
A bit of patience and your helpful comments
We have put a lot of work behind the scenes to make a seamless transition to the new website. We will continue to update older posts and ensure that all links are working. In addition, the informational pages will be continuously updated and current.
However, we might have missed a few things. Please let us know by sending us an email using our contact form.
